Interview with Iris Liu

1) Hi Iris, thank you so much for sharing your creativity in writing these beautiful stories! Tell us about yourself.

I love reading stories and writing stories. I go to BISS (The British International School Shanghai, Puxi) in Shanghai, China. I love my school, my friends there and my teachers. My best friend's name is Molly, and my favorite teachers are Ms. Connolly and Ms. Hind. Ms. Westwood is very nice to all of us, and I like her a lot too. My favorite class is my French class because we get to draw a lot.

2) What are the sources of your inspiration?

I read many books from others, and I love dinosaurs and dragons. They are adorable.

3) Which book do you like the most and why?

I love Anina and the Dragon because I love dragons. I also wrote much about Anina's adventures.

4) What challenges have you encountered in writing the books?

I have so much to write about Anina, and it was hard for me to organize my stories into only one short story.

5) What do you like to do when you grow up?

I would like to do something with art and music. I would also like to be a writer for other kids. I would love to travel a lot and do a lot of adventures. I plan to go to Africa and South America to see jaguars, elephants, and lions.

6) What would you like to do to make this world better for kids worldwide?

I want to write more stories and share them with everyone in the world.
