  • Programmer, interactive media (2)

    Job Description:

    Canada Youth Program - Canadian - Age: 15 -29

    As a Programmer specializing in Interactive Media, you will play a pivotal role in the development and implementation of interactive media projects. Proven experience as a Squarespace Developer or similar role. We hope to find someone with the following qualifications:

    • Familiarity with the Squarespace platform, including its capabilities and limitations.

    • Strong knowledge of web development tools and programming languages, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

    • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices.

    • Knowledge of SEO principles and the ability to implement them on Squarespace.

    Requirements

    • A degree in computer science, web development, or a related field is preferred, though not required with proven industry experience.

    • Please include a portfolio or examples of your past work with your application.

    • Proficiency in programming languages with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

    • Experience in developing interactive media applications or similar projects, showcasing a solid grasp of interactive technologies and techniques.

    • Familiarity with multimedia frameworks and tools, such as Unity or Adobe Creative Suite.

    • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.

    Job Description:

    Canada Youth Program - Canadian - Age: 15 -29

    As an Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing events (mainly online) while also supporting marketing efforts to promote and maximize their impact. This role requires a unique blend of event coordination skills and marketing expertise. You will collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to deliver exceptional events and implement strategic marketing initiatives.

    • Event Planning (online and offline): understand event objectives, preferences, and budgetary considerations. Develop event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. (20%)

    • Learning Content Creation: you will be assigned topics to create learning content for learners.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in event coordination and marketing, with a track record of successful event planning and execution.

    • Strong copywriting and content creation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different marketing channels.

    • Experience with digital marketing techniques, including social media management, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics.

    • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends.

    • Must know how to create content using AI applications such as: Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, Midjourney and other AIGC applications.

    Duration: 35 hrs./week, 8 weeks - from June 25th, 2023

    Job Description:

    Canada Youth Program - Canadian - Age: 15 -29

    As a Web Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective online marketing strategies to drive traffic, engagement, and conversions on our website. Your role will involve creating learning content and managing various digital marketing channels, and optimizing web content.

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience as a Web Marketing Manager or in a similar role, demonstrating successful web marketing campaigns and website optimization.

    • Have experience with AP exams in the past with full 5 marks.

    • Proficiency in social media marketing

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling web content and engage with the audience.

    • Must know how to create content using AI applications such as: Stable Diffusion, ChatGPT, Midjourney and other AIGC applications.

    Duration: 35 hrs./week, 8 weeks - from June 25th, 2023

    Benefits: EI/CPP

    Wage: CAD gross $17 / hour (before deductions and taxes)
